Brow Lamination and Tinting in Huntington Beach

Six to eight weeks of brows that stay where you put them. Here is what it does, what it costs, and when we would tell you to wait.

Brow Lamination and Tinting

The brows you have been drawing back on every morning since you over-plucked them in the early 2000s. Or the ones that refuse to lie flat no matter what you do.

Lamination handles both. It is also on your face for the next six weeks, which is why we would rather tell you now when we think your brows are not in good enough condition for it.

What lamination actually does to brow hair

Lamination breaks the bonds inside each brow hair, resets them in the direction we brush them, then locks them there. It is the same chemistry as a perm, applied to hairs a few millimetres long.

That is why it lasts weeks rather than days. It is also why timing matters more than anything else in the process. Left on too long, brow hair goes frizzy and brittle, and there is no undoing that before it grows out.

We would rather under-process and have you come back than over-process and have you live with it.

Waterproof or traditional lamination

Traditional

Keep the brows dry for 24 hours afterward. No shower, no sweat, no washing your face over them.

Waterproof

No wait at all. Shower, work out and wash your face the same day.

If you are booking around a gym schedule or an early start, waterproof is the one.

Will it look overdone?

That look comes from over-processing and from brushing every hair straight up. Both are choices, not the treatment itself.

We brush to the shape your brows already grow in and stop the processing early rather than late. If you want the bolder version you can ask for it, and if you want it barely noticeable, that is also a setting.

Bring a photo of brows you like. It is far more useful than any word either of us could use.

When we would say wait

Sometimes the answer is not yet.

If your brows were laminated in the last [X] weeks, if the hair is already brittle from previous over-processing, or if the skin around your brows is broken or irritated, we wait. Lamination on damaged hair makes it worse, and there is no reversing it early.

If you have ever reacted to a brow or lash tint, a lash lift, or a hair perm, tell us before you book. That is a hard stop rather than a caution.

Sparse brows sometimes need a tint rather than lamination. If that is your situation we will say so, and it is the cheaper option.

What Sets Us Apart

We mix your tint on the day to match your hair rather than picking from preset shades.

We stop the processing early. Brows that are slightly under-done grow out fine in a few weeks. Brows that are over-done do not, and you are the one wearing them.

Whenever you want to stop drawing them on, we would be glad to take a look.
