It’s the foundation underneath the steps: how skin actually behaves at the cellular level, barrier function, how it responds to inflammation and why that response is what leaves pigment behind — and what’s inside the products down to the individual ingredients, their concentrations, and the molecular weight that determines how deep an ingredient can go.

Yes. All skin tones. Deeper skin tones carry a higher risk of post-inflammatory pigmentation, which is exactly why sequencing matters more, not less — a treatment that's fine on one person's skin can leave a mark on another's. That's a judgment call we make in the room.
2 — YOUR FIRST VISIT

We look at your skin and talk through what's been going on, what you've tried, what made things worse, what you're hoping to change. Then you get treated. You leave knowing what we used, what to expect over the next few days, and what the next step looks like.

Book a corrective facial. It's the right starting point for almost every skin concern, and it gives us a proper look at your skin before anything stronger is on the table. If something else would suit you better, we'll say so at the appointment and go from there.

You'll see change from your first visit. Pigmentation and post-acne marks improve over a series because that's how skin works — nobody can shortcut it, and anyone promising a one-visit transformation is selling you something. We'll tell you what's realistic for your skin before you commit to anything.

Most people are, especially if they've had a bad experience somewhere. You don't have to explain it. Tell us as much or as little as you want, and we'll talk you through everything before it happens.
3 — HOW TO PREPARE

Pause retinol and exfoliating acids for the recommended number of days before your facial or peel. If you use any prescription skin medication, let us know when you book so we can plan your treatment safely.
Otherwise, don’t overthink it. Come with your skin as it is, we’ll take it from there.

Yes. That’s a reason to come in, not a reason to reschedule. Your skin doesn’t have to be perfect before you see us that’s what we’re here for.
We’ll assess your skin when you arrive and adjust the treatment based on what your skin can safely handle that day. That might mean changing the products, intensity, or treatment approach, but you’ll still receive a treatment that makes sense for your skin at that moment.

Yes, if you want to. We’ll remove it at the start of your appointment so we can properly assess your skin.
And don’t worry about showing up with a breakout, redness, or a “bad skin day.” We’re not here to judge your skin. We’re here to work with it.
4 — RESULTS AND HOW LONG THIS TAKES

Depends on the treatment, and we'll always tell you before, not after. A facial you can walk out of and go anywhere. Peels and microchanneling have real downtime, so we plan those around your calendar rather than the other way around.
